Position Summary

SOBRsafe, Inc. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to drive growth in the transdermal alcohol monitoring market. This is a hunter role focused on prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business in the behavioral health, virtual monitoring, and adjacent markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consultative B2B sales, preferably within behavioral health, medical device sales, or alcohol monitoring technology sectors. This role requires a self-starter who can build a book of business from the ground up, navigate long sales cycles, bring existing relationships into the space and achieve revenue targets.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, email campaigns, networking, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Set and conduct 3-5 qualified appointments per week with decision-makers in behavioral health facilities, virtual monitoring providers, electronic medical records companies, and adjacent markets.
  • Execute consultative sales strategies to understand customer pain points and position SOBRsafe's transdermal monitoring solution as the ideal fit.
  • Navigate complex, lengthy sales cycles with persistence and strategic relationship building.
  • Close new accounts and achieve quarterly quotas and revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline management in CRM, tracking all outbound activity, appointments, proposals, and closed deals.
  • Travel as needed to meet with prospects and attend industry trade shows and conferences to expand network and generate leads.
  • Build and leverage relationships within the behavioral health industry, virtual monitoring space, and related sectors.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share information, best practices, and successes in a non-territorial, team-oriented environment.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Represent SOBRsafe professionally at all industry events, particularly during key periods such as Alcohol Awareness Month.
  • Adapt sales approach based on customer feedback and market conditions, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Experience & Background:
  • 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably as an Account Executive in behavioral health, medical device sales, alcohol monitoring technology, or related healthcare fields
  • Experience with competitors,  or similar monitoring technology companies highly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a hunter capacity
  • Experience navigating long sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders

Skills & Competencies:
  • Exceptional prospecting skills with the ability to generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and creative outreach
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with a consultative, collaborative approach to sales
  • Self-driven and highly motivated with a hunter mentality and persistence to push through challenges
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot experience preferred)
  • Comfortable with technology and able to articulate technical product benefits

Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Denver, CO area
  • Comfortable working Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm plus discretionary hours as required
