Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to assist in the Company’s global consolidation and accounting close process. The role works closely with the SEC reporting and global finance teams to successfully execute the global consolidation. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for providing accurate, general accounting services, including overseeing journal entries; assisting in the development of documented policies, procedures, and controls; and recommending or implementing steps to improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Performs the monthly financial statement consolidation process, including foreign currency measurement, transfer pricing, translation, and allocations
- Responsible for the general ledger and chart of accounts set up and maintenance
- Review account roll-ups and classifications to ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and internal reporting requirements
- Collaborate across our global organization to develop financial information and analysis supporting internal and external reporting needs
- Leverage technology to build scalable/sustainable processes to create efficiencies, streamline accounting operations, and improve the employee experience
- Perform month-end close procedures, including financial statement preparation and cash reconciliations, as well as recording income/expense accruals, inter-company transactions, and analytical reviews.
- Work alongside the Treasury group in a cash management capacity.
- Assist with payment tracking and review invoice coding for corporate journal entries.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- MBA or CPA preferred
- 4+ years of related corporate accounting experience
- Prior real estate accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Yardi or similar ERP
- Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication, and collaboration in a team environment
- Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with astute attention to detail
- Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity

Physical Requirements
The work for this position will be conducted in an office environment. The role may require maintaining a stationary position for extended periods, operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, attending to tasks for extended periods, occasionally moving or lifting up to 50 lbs, and communicating accurate information effectively and efficiently.
