Position Summary
Dunn Henritze LLP is looking for an accountant to add to its team. You will use Lacerte software for most of the tax return preparation, but some very large tax returns are prepared on Pro-systems. You will prepare individual, partnership, trusts, S Corp, 10 C corp, and exempt organizations/foundation returns. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a public accounting tax practice. You will prepare electronic work papers using excel and adobe. In addition, you will participate in the planning that is done for the firm's families. You will often write memos and prepare presentations for family meetings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations
- Prepare electronic work papers
- Participate in planning for the firm's families
- Assist in writing memos and preparing presentations
- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations
Requirements Education/Experience
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting
- Proven work experience as an Accountant
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
- CPA license or license in the process is a plus!
