 POSITION TITLE: Marketing Manager

 REPORTS TO: Marketing Director

LOCATION: Greenwood Village, Colorado

WORK SCHEDULE / LOCATION: 5 days per week – Hybrid/In Office/Remote; generally, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexible). In office Mon, Tues, Thurs; Remote Wed; Flex ½ in office Fri.

COMPENSATION: $80,000 Annualized Salary (24 bi-monthly payments)

OTHER COMPENSATION: Eligible for discretionary annual bonus and equity stock compensation

PAID TIME OFF: Managed Flex Time at 130 hours (includes 48 hours sick time); 10 paid holidays

Our marketing efforts are critical to expanding our reach, driving engagement, and promoting the impact of our products. We are looking to expand our in-house marketing team to continue scaling our efforts and achieve greater impact in both the B2B and B2C spaces.

 

THE POSITION

As a Marketing Manager, you will support the Marketing Director and play a key role in executing the marketing strategy across various channels, with a focus on e-commerce, content strategy, affiliate marketing, email marketing, public relations, and marketing automation. You will be responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns, optimize customer journeys, and ensure alignment between our in-house marketing efforts and agency partners. This role requires someone with a strong blend of marketing expertise, technical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • E-commerce Strategy: Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue, ensuring a seamless shopping experience across platforms.
  • Affiliate Marketing: Manage and expand our affiliate marketing program, collaborating with partners to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Email Marketing: Lead the strategy, design, and execution of email marketing campaigns, including nurturing, retention, and transactional emails.
  • Marketing Automation: Oversee the implementation and management of marketing automation systems, ensuring effective lead nurturing and customer segmentation.
  • Public Relations: Collaborate with the PR team to develop and execute strategies that drive brand awareness and positive media coverage.
  • Content Strategy: Work with internal and external content teams to align messaging and optimize content across all digital touchpoints, from blogs to social media.
  • Collaboration with Agencies: Act as a supplemental point of contact for agency partners in areas such as paid media, SEO, and organic social media.
  • Data Analysis: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) to assess marketing campaigns' success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Team Support: Provide day-to-day support to the marketing director and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer support.

 

POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in email campaign management, customer segmentation, and using analytics tools to optimize performance (Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Public Relations Experience: Experience working with PR agencies or teams to drive media coverage and brand visibility.
  • Content Strategy: Strong background in content creation, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external agency partners, and stakeholders to ensure consistent execution and alignment of marketing strategies.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze marketing data, track KPIs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal teams and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Agile and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • E-commerce Expertise: Demonstrated ability to drive e-commerce performance, optimize customer journeys, and improve conversions.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to think creatively and solve complex marketing challenges with innovative approaches.

 

EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
  • Agency or in-house marketing experience is required
  • 5+ Years of marketing experience with progressive advancement
  • Technology Manufacturing and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) experience, preferred
  • Experience in a startup environment while operating and scaling a high-performing marketing team is a plus
