Compensation: Total earnings expected at $80k to $90k annually. Commission earnings are not capped, and higher annual earnings are possible.

  • Fun, passionate, and quick study with a thirst for knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Prior Leadership / Supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite or MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with POS/CRM platforms.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4-year BA or BS.
  • Furniture or Bedding retail experience.
  • Big ticket sales experience.

Responsibilities:

  • This is an active player/coach position that requires personal selling activities to customers. 
  • Consistently dazzle and delight your customers.
  • Create an atmosphere of curiosity and discovery which encourages customers to explore and realize the most comfortable version of themselves.
  • Confidently present products in a way that contributes to our reputation for best-in-class products, product quality, and service.
  • Hire and train a world-class team of caring and capable Comfort Consultants.
  • Manage scheduling hours and payroll approval.
  • Execute all required customer follow-ups related to quotes and post-sale contact.
  • Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and up-to-date sales floor. Execute merchandising plans based on company guidelines.
  • Passionately and aggressively maximize sales. Meet sales and 4-wall profit expectations.
  • Provide reporting and tracking as required.
  • Focus on and succeed at consistently creating Positive Memorable Customer Experiences.
  • Demand a high level of performance from the company retail support team. Identify (then productively and communicate) areas of weakness, opportunities to improve results, and anything you see that would help the company build a better, smarter business operation.
